All membership categories take advantage of the general benefits shown below, as well as specific benefits for different membership categories.
You are entitled to play at any time during the week. As a 7-day member, you can enter all competitions available to your handicap and have full voting rights. Your spouse may join as a 5 Day Plus member (see details below) for £105 in the first year and £210 for the second year, and pay full fees for that category from then on.
You are entitled to play 5 days of the week Monday to Friday and after 10am on Sunday. You can enter all competitions available to your handicap, played during these times and have full voting rights. Your spouse may also join as a 5 Day Plus member for £105 in the first year and £210 for the second year, and pay full fees for that category from then on.
You are entitled to play Monday to Friday and can play in midweek club competitions available to your handicap. You also have full voting rights.
The partner of a Full Playing Member, Five Day Plus Member or Five Day Member, is eligible for a discounted rate for the first two years as a temporary Five Day Plus Member. This category does not carry voting rights. In the third year, Partner Members take up one of three options; become a full 5 Day Plus Member, take out a different category of membership or resign from the club.
Junior membership is available up to the age of 18 (21 if in full time education). You can play at any time during the week, but must be accompanied by a Full Playing member on a Saturday, and can enter all competitions available to your handicap. This category does not carry voting rights.
Fees work as a sliding scale commencing at 19 years old and increases each year thereafter until you pay a full subscription at 28 years old. You can play at any time during the week and can enter all competitions available to your handicap. You also have full voting rights.
This is available to employees of the Emergency Services. 999 members are able to play Monday to Friday but not tee-off between 7.30-9.30am and 12.00-1.30pm. You are not able to enter club competitions and are not eligible to gain a WHS Handicap. This category does not carry voting rights.
This category of member must live more than 75 miles from Cleckheaton Golf Club. You can play at any time during the week and can enter all competitions available to your handicap. This category does not carry voting rights.
This category of member must live more than 30 miles from Cleckheaton Golf Club and must already be a Full Member of a recognised golf club in the vicinity of their residence and confirm such membership each year to the Secretary. You can play at any time during the week and can enter all competitions available to your handicap. This category does not carry voting rights.

Social members have full use of the Clubhouse facilities but not the external golf facilities, unless paying a green fee. This category of membership does not have voting rights.
