Attention, ladies!

Have you ever wanted to play golf but don’t know how to get started or worried that you’ve never played before and won’t be any good?

Well don’t worry anymore, we’ve got you covered.

In May each year, we open up a limited number of membership places to ladies that are beginners, or even completely new to golf and want to try a new hobby. Our friendly Ladies' Section and dedicated Club Professionals are here to support and guide you every step of the way.

There are only ten Academy places available each year on a first come first served basis. May 2026's intake was filled very quickly, but you can register your interest to join May 2027's intake by contacting us using the details below.

Below are some details to explain more…

  • Enjoy 9 one-to-one lessons (30 mins) with our professional
  • You don’t need anything to get started, we can lend you golf clubs
  • Trainers and casual clothes are fine to get you started
  • Access to Ladies’ Academy group lessons
  • Use the Club’s Practice Facilities any time
  • Play on the course between 12 noon Sunday and Friday evening
The Ladies’ Academy is a three-year schedule designed to get you enjoying golf on the course and gaining a handicap; we’ll explain what that is later. Each year offers the same benefits, but years two & three fees are slightly more as you’ll be wanting to spend more time on the course, believe us!

YEAR 1 - £180

YEAR 2 - £250

YEAR 3 - £500

We have a great group of ladies and your membership allows so much more than simply playing golf. The clubhouse serves superb meals on the patio overlooking the course, it’s a great place to meet other members or take your friends and family for a bite to eat and a drink

We arrange trips to other courses and play matches against other clubs (for those who want to). We also have enjoyable social evenings at the club.
