SUE RYDER SALVER

Earlier this month we entered two teams into the Bradford Union’s Sue Ryder Salver at Northcliffe; one Ladies’ team and a Gents’ team.

We’re delighted to announce that both teams performed amazingly well.

Huge congratulations though go to Jackie Barraclough (Lady Captain), Tina Beaumont-Newton (Lady Vice Captain) and Wendy Buckley, who made history as the first all-female team to win the trophy, scoring 81 points!

Our Gents team, consisting of Dave Walsh, Glen Thompson and Allan Parker were a very respectable 5th place finish just three shots behind.

This is the second Bradford Union Trophy won by Cleckheaton Members this year, with plenty more still in contention in other competitions. Good luck to everyone for the rest of the season.
