SCRATCH CUP & EMERSON TROPHY

The Scratch Cup decides our 'Champion Golfer of the Year' and is played over two rounds on the same day. The Emerson Trophy is contested in the same competition and celebrates the Nett Score winner.

2026's competition took place with a stiff breeze and a firm ground, which proved a challenging combination.

However, both competitions were very closely contested, as per the below:

SCRATCH CUP (Gross Score)
1st - William Weir; 78-76 = 154 total
2nd - Mark Vertigans; 80-75 = 155 total

EMERSON TROPHY (Nett Score)
1st - Lewis Hardaker; 71-69 = 140 total (best 2nd round)
2nd - Craig McAllister; 68-72 = 140 total

The trophies were presented to the winners by the Captain shortly after completion of play. Pictured from the left is William Weir, Phil Lockwood and Lewis Hardaker.
