£10,450 RASIED FOR CHARITY
Last month’s Charity Ball was a great success, enjoyed by members and guests alike.
The Annual Event raised £10,450 for Parkinson’s UK and remembered Club Member Andy Mear’s Grandad George Mear, who died of this horrible disease.
Ailsa Dragan from Parkinson’s UK gave some interesting insights into how the disease affects its victims and Paul Ramsden hosted a successful Auction before comedian Billy Flywheel entertained the guests after dinner.
Andy would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who donated, especially sponsors Phil Lockwood, Peter Harris and Jamie & Nicole Lavin.
Cleckheaton Golf Club’s new catering team of Mark & Seaneen Birkett provided a superb meal and helped hugely to the evening’s success.
